Overview
Big data raises many ethical questions. In this online noncredit course, you'll examine how big data is being used to track user behavior for a variety of purposes, weigh the challenge of data privacy alongside the benefits of anonymous big data, and develop your own proposal for a technical or regulative change to a big data tool.

Format and Schedule
This is an online course. The suggested duration is five or 10 weeks. It includes 20 hours of synchronous instruction and 10 hours of asynchronous learning. Live class sessions meet weekdays, one or two days a week.
This course can also be offered as an in-person, F-1 visa eligible classroom experience if you'd like.
